  • site of absorption (duodenum, jejunum and ileum)
  • the role of the stomach function to produce hydrochloric acid, pepsin and intrinsic factor (99% active absorption of vitamin B12)
  • the position of the pancreas and the gallbladder with reference to the release of digestive juices into the duodenum.
