Cathy is an Advanced Accredited Practicing Dietitian with over 30 years clinical experience, including 16 years specialising in Bariatric Surgery to accumulate a wealth of knowledge in the field.
Her professional dedication has seen her awarded with her PhD (2021) and a National Award of Merit by Dietitian Australia (2022). Grace is an experienced Accredited Practicing Dietitian, and a graphic designer.
She works exclusively with those having bariatric surgery (mostly Sleeve Gastrectomies) or those requiring a Fundoplication (an operation to treat severe reflux).
In 2024, after seven years at the University of Newcastle, she transitioned to clinical practice. Dr Cathy Harbury is supervising her work to ensure a high quality of care is provided to all Shine Dietetics clients.
